Don’t be afraid to change directions in the new year. Give yourself permission to change priorities by following these three simple steps.
Jenn wraps up 2019 by rolling out a new plan with a new co-host! Jordan Marzan joins us in this last episode of the year as a fresh voice in a conversation to mothers. We are launching a new series within the podcast, in between regular interviews on parenting and family life.
In Which We Meet Jordan
Jordan has been working behind the scenes this year as the Practical Family Podcast producer. When she’s not networking with guests and setting up future episodes, she is taking care of family and developing her skills as a ballroom dancer and actress.
As a friend and brainstorming partner, Jordan adds the special element of insight as a former homeschooler, second-oldest of nine kids, and nanny to a family of five kids. She grew up in West Virginia, and now lives in Honolulu with her husband Tyler of two years.
Learn more about Jordan as we discuss the beginning of this new direction for the podcast. She is a load of fun to work with, and you’ll have a load of fun listening 🙂
2020 Series: Strong Enough
This year, Practical Family is strengthening moms for real life struggles by inserting a new series into the show schedule.
Once a month, Jenn and Jordan will co-host an episode based on the common issues mothers have regarding personal identity, coping with life changes, and helping women like you to discover your gifts, and embrace grace.
The Beautifully Painful Process
Jenn and Jordan share about their mutual struggle: when you’re an idea person, and you need someone to tell you when to put it in the attic.
“We all have a seat on the struggle bus”
Come and sit next to us on the bus and learn how to have grace for yourself. This journey of motherhood is no joke, and we want to show you how to let go and grow out of an old season and into a new one.

Jordan Marzan is originally from West Virginia, raised in a family of nine kids, former nanny of five, and a proud home school graduate (thanks mom!). She holds a degree in public relations and works as an actress, ballroom dancer, and podcaster. Much to her delight, Tyler (i.e. “Hawaiian Man-Candy”) agreed to marry her three years ago and they now live in Hawaii. They enjoy long naps on the beach and are trying to find a hobby that somehow combines dancing and racing cars.
