Creative Kids, Creative Parents. You’ve got what it takes!
There’s no magic formula for raising creative kids. Nor should we throw up our hands and say, “Well, too bad kid. Either you got it, or you don’t.”
There are many ways to cultivate creativity, and many directions express our God-given abilities. I loved Jenny’s book Courageous Creative: A 31-Day Interactive Devotional because she walks you through a thought process as she challenges you to fling the windows wide open and discover the amazing person God created you to be.
We create because we were made in His image, and HE is the ULTIMATE creator.
Guiding Creativity
Courageous Creative gave us room to dream. I started doing this devotional with my daughter in the morning before our homeschool day began. We did the challenges together, looked up the correlating scripture passages, and prayed as we re-discovered God in the things that He has made, and then skills He gives us to make our own stuff.
The possibilities are endless! But it takes stepping out and actually doing it. There are 50 specific things Jenny lists in Courageous Creative so order her book today and start challenging yourself as you provide opportunities for your kiddos to embrace their beautifully unique gifts.

Jenny was on with us back in May to talk about how we can step outside of our comfort zones and do what God has called us to do. You can listen to Episode 039 by clicking here.
